The C-47 Skytrain is an Soviet Paratrooper spawnpoint. The C-47 is operated by an NPC, flies a set path around the combat zone, and cannot be piloted or purchased by players. It does not fly evasively when fired upon, so it is highly vulnerable to anti-aircraft guns and German Bf 109 fighter planes.
Tips

Jumping in the middle of nowhere and walking back is better than a man-down by German hands.
You can change your seat in the plane be pressing your “K” key.
Get a 3rd person view of the plane and a good look at your drop zone by using your mouse’s scroll wheel (up/down).
