Description
“ | The Model 1934 is a pocket pistol based on the earlier Model 1914 pistol. What its 7.65mm round lacks in power, the pistol makes up for with its compact size and great ergonomics; making it a popular pistol amongst soldiers. | ” |

HISTORY[ | ]
The Model 1934, or Mauser Model 1934 (pocket pistol), was an inter-war pistol developed by Mauser based on the the Model 1910/14. It is almost identical to the 1914 model, with a changed grip that curved a bit backwards. It was a double action blowback pistol which fired 7.65x17 mm (.32 ACP) ammo and used a simple double-action blowback design. It could hold 8 bullets in the magazine and was compact enough to be carried in a bag or pocket, which was useful for specialists like pilots or marines. Therefore, this pistol was widely used by the Kriegsmarine until was was replaced with other pistols like the Polizeipistole and P38.
Gameplay[ | ]
This is the first pistol unlocked for the German faction, at rank 1 Tactical. The pistol is weak and not very accurate, with a low rate of fire. It is purely meant to finish off enemies or get a quick headshot. The effective rang is about 25 meters, with poor iron sights, so don't engage when not at point blank range. Once a better pistol is unlocked, it's highly advisable to acquire that. The C96 boasts a 10 round mag with quick reload, and the P08 and P38 a more effective punch.
It takes up one equipment slot, making it perfect for a specialist like a paratrooper or recon that don't have many equipment slots. On the other hand, this weapon won't be effective in many scenarios, so chose carefully what kind of loadout you are going for.
