The Soviet T-70 is a very well armoured light tank. It is protected in some parts by 60mm thick sloped armor making it hard to destroy for enemy light tanks. It is armed with a 45mm cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun.

Tips
T-70's frontal hull armor is incredibly tough for a light tank. It is most effective in stopping german light tanks' 20mm autocannons, as well as 37mm shots to some extent.
T-70's frontal armor's performance is dependent on distance. The longer the range it is being fired upon, the higher chance its armor will have at stopping incoming shells.
T-70 has a noticeably small turret profile, excellent turret armor, and relatively good gun depression. It is highly ideal to find hull-down positions, in which case it will be able to dominate all other light tanks with ease.
Good tactic against German Pz IIL (Luchs) in close quarters is to simply ram it as the T-70 can push it around due to the low weight on the Luchs, thereby preventing them from aiming.
T-70 has 2 engines which are separate from each other. This layout is not very common in the game and grants T-70 the unique ability to still keep a respectable portion of its mobility in case an engine is destroyed (Note - doesn't work in real life as each engine supposedly powers one of its tracks).
All T-70's critical components (All 2 ammo racks and the only fuel tank) are located at the left half of the tank's hull. Facing enemy tanks with its other half will allow the 2 engines situated there to absorb most shots, allowing you to survive attacks for a significantly longer amount of time.
As a top-tier light tank, T-70 enjoys a significant accuracy and penetration advantage over most other single-shot light tanks. This allows it to easily outperform the latter when engaging from far distances.
Using the T-70 Model 1942 light tank in battle will earn you points on this ribbon. More points are awarded for scoring hits on enemy tanks. The highest award is given for destroying enemy tanks.
